What has Will Bowman Lost?
Here’s what Colony has to say:
Before the Arrival, Will Bowman was an ex-military FBI agent who enjoyed a successful career in hunting down fugitives. He lived a quiet, happy life with his wife, Katie, and their three children.
After the Arrival, Will’s life was forever changed. Like so many people who were forced to take on new forms of employment, Will became an auto mechanic, spending his day working on cars in order to provide for his family. Things at home were even worse, as Will’s son, Charlie, went missing as a result of the Arrival.
Will will stop at nothing to fight for his family and retrieve his son.
Will didn’t just become an auto mechanic, he HAD to assume a new job (and identity) to escape the fate of other ex-military- Death. Will reminds me of a soldier struggling to return to “normal” life, except nothing is normal anymore. I want to say he has a touch of PTSD- and he’s taking very personally the loss of his son, Charlie, to the Other Side. He wanted to retrieve his son, sure, but at GREAT risk to the other members of his family. He’s now stuck between a rock and a hard place with no other option but to help the Transitional Authority track down the Opposition- and yet, now that he’s working for the T.A, the Resistance will be tracking HIM down.
Plus, he is one seriously handsome man and he rocks that scruffy beard look like no one’s business.
I can’t wait to see what he does.
