Which side is she on??
Katie Bowman lived an idyllic life before the Arrival. Katie was a beloved wife with three children, and she owned a bar called the Yonk, which was a very popular and beloved spot in their community.
After the Arrival, Katie’s life took a sharp turn for the worse. Forced to close the Yonk, Katie had to quickly find other means of supporting her family. She relied on her quick thinking and strong negotiating skills to make a positive and lasting impact in all of their lives.
Katie will stop at nothing to get her son back and fight for her family.
I don’t know what to think about Katie yet. She’s strong, you can see it. She’s mourning her lost son, Charlie, but recognizes that she has two other kids to take care of, and who depend on her. She’s also helping to take care of her sister, Medeline, and her nephew, Hudson, who has diabetes.
She seems to know a little bit about a lot of things, including the resistance. She tells her husband she’s behind him on his work with the Transitional Authority, but is she? She is a lot more than she appears to be.
I’d love to sit and have a few drinks with her, and see how she is a little tipsy. My guess is, she never lets herself get a little tipsy, and she’s always in control.
